My Mind
This blog exists to chronicle the myriad ideas I have, that I will sadly never have the resources to complete. Enjoy, and do well with them. Also anyone wishing to support me in my endeavours is encouraged to visit this page to see Some Images I've produced.

Modular Arrow Heads
This was an idea to create a set of arrowheads with interchangeable parts. Unfortunately I couldn't make the parts, I managed to build the center posts and they're kind of useful as practice tips, but without the other parts available they're not much else.

Shoe Re-Treader
I have some good shoes. I buy them on a regular basis. The body of them is very sturdy, but the soles get worn out too fast. I designed these as a solution to this, but I haven't been able to build them because I don't have the right materials, specifically I need some plate steel for the bottom and sides of the press. Anyway, if you would like to build these and show the results I would love to see that.

Linear Steam Generator
Solid Energy Field Generator
This concept works on the same idea that creates the EM field around the earth. This aparatus would easily scale up or down nearly infinitely for varied applications. Also I believe the field, and of course the field effects, could be made to form any number of physical shapes by simple manipulation of the ambient magnetic field. This technology would also make space travel a lot less risky for living things, creating a solid barrier around the vessel one would not have to worry about micrometeors or solar flares.

Quick Light Diffused Lantern
This concept is very simple, and basically uses garbage. Small cell bubble wrap is wrapped around an LED array. LED arrays are usually quite direct, which is good in some cases, but if you want to evenly light a room or tent up, it should be diffused. Best part is all you need is the light, the bubble wrap, and some tape. The photos demonstrate how it works. It's facing straight up in the first one, then off to the right in the second.
Sonic Zombie Lure
Very basic idea, no diagram. You find one of those annoying singing birthday cards, tie a string to the front flap and place a very small rock on it. Run the string in the likely path the zombie would take. When it trips over it coming to you, it will instead be drawn to the card that is now playing crappily encoded birthday songs. This will give it a new target, and you a warning that there's one nearby.
Refillable CO2 Pepper Spray
This idea is designed as a reusable aerosol launch system for any liquid, most likely pepper spray. I bought a CO2 based air duster and thought this up. The device is only designed to take the larger cartridge in the photo, but if you put a penny or a dime in the bottom, a small one for an airgun will fit nicely.
Solar Charge Palm Light
This is a simple modification of your average sloarlight path marker. You take the stem and the clear bell jar off, and gently grind the end off the LED. You mount the LED into a stationary position with epoxy or some other kind of very solid glue. When you're not using it at night, turn it off. During the day turn it on and leave it right side up to charge. This item is designed for low impact lighting in dark situations. Enough to see by, but not enough to cut a huge swath and draw unwanted attention.

Butanated Water
A concept idea for which there's no diagram because it's a simple chemistry idea. Carbonated water contains carbon dioxide and is mostly harmless. This would apply the same technique but dissolving butane in the water instead. This combination would be a steam explosive. Using a regular blasting cap would set off the butane while it's still dissolved in the water, which would flash boil the whole mix. This steam would rapidly expand and with nowhere to go but out it would flash steam everything in its effective radius. This would be most effective in a small confined space. I have actually tested this and it is possible to dissolve butane in water. You have to pump the butane in liquid form, into the water at least 30% the depth of the container you're using. I've never actually set this off however because I don't have access to blasting caps. If someone wants to try this and let me know how effective it actually is I'd love to see that.
Zero Contact Rubber Baffle Firearm Silencer
Antigravity Bubble Generator
This is a concept piece based on a study from the 1950s that never got done. Basically it posited that opposing magnetic forces could negate gravity in a certain area. They proposed spinning two solid magnetic discs in opposite directions. My thought was that those objects would not create enough magnetic 'friction' for the idea to work, so I came up with this.

Shotgun Bowl Trap
Steel Cable as Bowstring
This idea is not entirely new, but the method of making it is important for longevity and comfort. You need 5 things: Steel aircraft cable, whatever size is most appropriate for your bow, cable sleeves for that size, common thread, liquid electrical tape, and bowstring wax. Regular beeswax will suffice if it's all you have. You measure out the cable, accounting for length loss due to the loops. Coat both ends in a light coating of liquid electrical tape, and let set. Once set, slip on the sleeves and press it tight. Coat the loops in liquid electrical tape and let set. Then you find the middle of the bowstring, give it a 3 inch section coating of liquid electrical tape, let it sit for about 2 minutes, then wrap it in two tight layers of thread. Tie it tight, and coat that in liquid electrical tape. Let it set overnight, then take the wax, and work it in with your fingers, make sure it gets right in every nook and crannie, this will make sure the weight from the draw is evenly distributed, and keep the individual steel fibers from rubbing against each other and wearing the whole thing down.
Attached are photos of the ends, and the middle of one of mine.
Perpetual Magnetic Induction
This design is about the 6th generation I have theorized. It is essentially a magnetically powered wide field induction engine. This design would create a field about 30x it's own volume in which any properly calibrated device would receive electrical energy. Each wheel in the graphic is designed to be proportionally the same width as every other. The spaces carved into them are meant for neodymium magnets. The wheel with the long magnet slots is the center, it is stationary, and the other wheels rotate around it, forcing off of the magnetic field it generates. The rest form a sphere around it with a central rotational axis. The magnetic field generated would essentially be a torus, centered around the rotational axis.
Exacto Blade Broadheads
This concept came to me when thinking of improvised weaponry in a post-apoc environment. Every hunting and archery shop will be picked clean rather quickly, so I designed an effective arrowhead made from materials that will likely not be in high demand. And to any naysayers who claim the materials wouldn't hold up I say two things: Current hunting broadheads have moving parts flimsier than this, and people made their first arrowheads out of wood and rocks. These are fine.
Obviously I managed to make these, I just can't make any money off them so what good is it not to share them?
Springbow
The initial concept of this item was to use the power from steel springs to propel an arrow. This project has since run into materials problems as most prototyping does when there's no money around. Hopefully someone who reads this will be able to complete it. All annotated measurements are in Inches.
Any other information on this that you want, just leave a question in the comments.
My Ideas
This blog will exist as a place for me to present my theoretical designs in the hope that others will take my work and continue developing it. I would do it myself if I had the money, but if I had the money I likely wouldn't have to, so as you can see my dilema is circular. Anyway, I would like, if nothing else, that my ideas and theories be tested and refined. I will be uploading images and schematics as well as descriptive text laying out how these designs are supposed to work. You are free to take the designs and refine them to your needs, all I ask is that if the finished product works, you reference this site in any test footage or documentation. Also clicking on the google ads might help me a lot in getting money to try some of my ideas myself.
